Bramble Blast is a stage that makes its Smash debut in Super Smash Bros. Crusade. When it was first included, it was unlockable, but now is a starter stage.

It is the home stage to Donkey Kong.

General

Bramble Blast appears as a level in Donkey Kong Country 2, and it is the sixth level for Krem Quay, which is the third world of the game. The whole of the level is infested with spikes and Zingers, who can trap and damage Dixie and Diddy. One of the main ways of transportation through the level is through barrel cannons, though occassionally a Squawk will come and help the player.

Stage Appearance

The stage is based off of the level of the same name in Donkey Kong Country 2. While the platforms are skewed to the right of the stage, that does not mean things aren't happening to the left side of the stage. Enemies fly about, and if they touch you you'll take decent damage and knockback from them. Although it should be obvious, landing on the spikes can damage you as well. In the background, a huge stickerbrush somewhat hinders your sight of the cloud-filled sky, which slowly pans.

Because of the stage hazards, Bramble Blast is banned from tournaments.
